Everdell Farshore

The game setup involves placing the main board in the center of the table, featuring the central bay, action spaces, and the scoring track around the edge. The deck of cards is shuffled, and eight cards are drawn to fill the bay spaces. Island tiles, resource supplies, shell tokens, scroll tiles, and windrose tokens are laid out within easy reach. Each player selects a color and receives a boat, worker meeples, three metal anchors, and a starting hand of cards. Workers are distributed with one placed in the player's boat and the remaining three assigned to the seasonal tracks.

The primary objective of Farshore is to accumulate the highest number of victory points by constructing a thriving coastal town and harbour. Players achieve this by strategically drafting and playing animal and building cards, managing resources such as driftwood, sea-pearls, and gemstones, and navigating their boats along the scoring track.

During a player's turn, they choose one of three primary actions when it is their turn: send a worker on a path to a location to gather resources or gain benefits, play a card from their hand or the bay by paying its resource costs, or prepare for the next season by recalling workers and collecting seasonal bonuses. Players must carefully balance resource management, card combos, and worker placement.

Scoring is determined at the end of the game based on victory point values printed on buildings, characters, and treasures. Additional points are gained from accumulated scroll multipliers, shell tokens, and final positions along the board's scoring track. Purple-bordered cards also offer unique end-game bonuses tied to specific strategies.

The game ends after all four seasons—spring, summer, autumn, and winter—have been played by all participants. Once every player has no further actions or workers available and has passed their final turn, the game proceeds to the final scoring phase to determine the winner.
