The main objective is to escape the locked secret laboratory. Players must work cooperatively to investigate clues, manipulate physical props, and solve all the room's riddles before the timer runs out.

To set up EXIT: The Game – The Secret Lab, first remove the plastic wrapping. Place the rulebook, decoder disk, riddle cards, answer cards, help cards, and all physical props such as the notebook and photo cards flat on a table so all players can access them easily.

During a turn, players examine the available components and riddle cards, discuss potential solutions, and check their answers using the decoder disk. If a combination is correct, the disk reveals which new cards or items to draw next.

Scoring is determined by your final time and the number of help cards used. After escaping, players calculate their score using a certificate included in the box, earning up to ten stars.

The game ends when players successfully solve the final riddle and unlock the door, or if time expires without solving the puzzles, concluding the experiment.

Pay close attention to every detail in the illustrations and props, as almost anything can be a clue. Do not hesitate to draw cards from the help deck if your team gets stuck.
