The rules, step by step

Setup
To set up Finca, place the central windmill wheel in the middle of the table and randomly distribute the resource wedge tiles around it. Depending on the player count, distribute a specific number of farmer meeples to each player—fewer farmers for higher player counts. Set out the six different wooden resource types in a supply tray, adjusting quantities based on the number of players, and place the map board displaying the various Italian towns with their respective delivery tokens nearby. Keep donkey cards and finca tiles handy to begin play.
Objective
The main objective of Finca is to immerse players in the Italian countryside where they collect and deliver diverse fruit resources like figs, lemons, almonds, olives, grapes, and oranges. Players manage their farmers and donkeys efficiently to transport fruits to different towns on the map, aiming to satisfy town demands and fulfill regional goals to secure the highest overall score.
On your turn
On your turn, choose one of your farmers on the central wheel and move them forward a number of spaces equal to the number of tokens currently resting on that blade. Upon landing, collect the corresponding resource from the supply. If the supply runs out, all players must return their collected tokens of that type. If your movement crosses or lands past a dotted line, you may draw a donkey card. Finally, you may use a donkey card to deliver resources from your supply to towns on the board.
Scoring
Scoring happens primarily through successful deliveries. When you fulfill a town's delivery requirement using your donkey card, you discard the resources, send your donkey back to the stable, and collect victory point tokens. Additionally, when the final tile of a region is claimed, players compare how many matching fruits they delivered throughout the game, and the player with the most wins a valuable regional finca tile worth five points.
Game end
The game naturally concludes when a predetermined number of finca tiles have been awarded and placed onto the board's regions, which varies according to the total player count. Once this threshold is reached, the game ends immediately, and players tally their points from delivery tokens and finca tiles to determine the winner.
Tips
Strategic movement on the windmill wheel is essential; because the number of tokens on a tile determines how far your farmer moves, keeping track of other players' positions lets you anticipate resource availability. Avoid hoarding resources excessively, as emptying a supply forces everyone to return theirs, potentially ruining your carefully planned delivery strategies.
