Flamecraft

To set up Flamecraft, lay out the central town board featuring starting shops populated with their initial artisan dragons. Place the various good tokens, coins, and companion cards nearby. Shuffle the artisan dragon deck, fancy dragon deck, and enchantment card decks, placing them in their designated spots on the board. Each player chooses a color, takes their matching dragon token, and is dealt a starting hand of dragon cards and a secret fancy dragon card to begin the game.

The main objective in Flamecraft is to build the greatest reputation as a flamekeeper in a bustling fantasy town. Players guide artisan and fancy dragons to different shops, gather resources, cast magical enchantments, and help dragons find their ideal homes. By managing resources efficiently and fulfilling dragon preferences, players work toward achieving the highest reputation score by the game's conclusion.

On a player's turn, they must move their dragon token to a different shop in town than the one they occupied previously. Once arrived, the player chooses one of two primary actions: either gather goods from the visited shop, collecting the listed resources and triggering any dragon fire-up abilities present, or cast an enchantment by paying the required goods to score reputation points and gain rewards. Optional actions like using dragon fire-up abilities or interacting with companions can also be performed.

Scoring in Flamecraft revolves around gaining reputation points, which are tracked on the central board's reputation track. Players primarily earn points by casting enchantments, fulfilling the scoring criteria of sun and moon fancy dragons, and having leftover coins at the end of the game. Strategic placement and timing are crucial for maximizing points from enchantments and shop bonuses.

The game is triggered to end as soon as either the artisan dragon deck or the enchantment deck is completely exhausted. When this happens, each player takes one final turn, including the player who triggered the end. After the final turn, players calculate their end-game scoring by adding remaining coin values and moon fancy dragon points to their total reputation, and the player with the most points wins.
