Flip 7: With A Vengeance

To set up, shuffle all the number, modifier, and action cards together to form a single face-down deck. Randomly select one player to be the dealer. The dealer then deals one face-up card to each player, including themselves, placing it in front of them where everyone can see it. If playing with more than 18 players, it is recommended to combine two copies of the game.

The objective of Flip 7: With A Vengeance is to be the player with the most points when at least one player reaches 200 or more points at the end of a round. Players accumulate points over several rounds by collecting number cards while avoiding busting or being negatively affected by special cards and actions.

Starting with the player to the dealer's left and proceeding clockwise, players decide whether to 'hit' or 'stay'. If a player 'hits', the dealer deals them the top card of the deck face-up. If it's a number card, it's added to their row. If it's a modifier or action card, its effect is resolved. If a player 'stays', they rotate their leftmost card sideways, indicating they are out for the rest of the current round. If a player ever has more than one copy of the same number card (unless it's a Lucky 13, which allows one duplicate), they 'bust', flip all their cards face-down, and are out of the round. If a player draws their seventh unique number card (excluding modifiers and action cards), the round immediately ends for all players.

At the end of a round, any player who did not bust scores points. First, total the values of all face-up number cards. Then, apply any modifier card effects: divide the total by 2 (rounding down) if you have the 'Divide by 2' modifier, and subtract points for other negative modifiers. Your score cannot go below zero due to modifiers. If a player achieved seven unique number cards, they receive an additional 15 points. Players record their scores, either on paper or using a scoring app/sheet.

The game ends at the end of any round where at least one player has accumulated 200 or more points. The player with the highest total score at that point wins. If there's a tie for the highest score, all tied players continue playing additional rounds until one player has both more than 200 points and a higher score than all other tied players.
