Forest Shuffle

Set up the clearing board centrally, distributing one cave card to each player. Separate and set aside the three winter cards, then discard a specific number of cards from the remaining deck based on the player count (30 for two players, 20 for three, 10 for four). Shuffle the remaining cards, integrate the three winter cards into the bottom section of the deck, and deal six starting cards to each player to begin the game.

The main objective of Forest Shuffle is to cultivate a thriving forest ecosystem by carefully combining trees, flora, and fauna. Players compete to create the most harmonious and valuable woodland habitat, maximizing their score by strategically positioning cards to satisfy various ecological conditions and card synergies by the end of the game.

During your turn, you can choose to either draw two cards into your hand from the deck, the clearing, or a combination of both, or play one card from your hand into your forest by paying its cost. Playing cards requires discarding cards to the clearing. Trees serve as the foundation of your forest, while flora and fauna cards can be tucked underneath trees to activate specific abilities and bonuses.

Scoring takes place at the end of the game by adding up the point values indicated on all visible cards within your forest. Additionally, you earn one bonus point for every card you managed to store safely inside your cave. The player with the highest total score wins.

The game is triggered to end immediately when the third winter card is drawn or revealed from the deck, halting all ongoing actions so players can immediately proceed to final scoring.
