How do you play Game of Word Making?
A very early word game, somewhat like 5 card draw poker without the wagering. There are 48 letter cards; 5 are dealt to each player, and each in turn gets one chance to discard any number of cards and receive an equal number from the deck.

There are 48 letter cards; 5 are dealt to each player, and each in turn gets one chance to discard any number of cards and receive an equal number from the deck. Then hands are scored: 3, 4 or 5 points for a 3, 4 or 5-letter word; -1 if it's a plural that ends in 'S'; +10 for each hard letter (Q, V, W, X, Y, Z) in the word (the cards are labeled as hard); or 20 points for 3 of a kind (UUU), 50 points for 4 of a kind (OOOO). Play to an agreed amount of time, hands, or points; the highest score wins.
