Gargoyles and Goblins™ Game 2141-0

Welcome to the world of Gargoyles and Goblins, a fantastic new electronic strategy game with phantasmagoric creatures and hidden force fields.

The mystical and magical society of this game is comprised of two primary species, Gargoyles and Goblins. Each species is divided into two tribes. It’s this tribe vs. tribe where four players play. With two players, specialist pieces of the Gargoyles and Goblins attack and probe the game board in a battle to vanquish one another.

All of these fantasy creatures are assembled around the perimeter of the arena. Each player moves a total of 3 spaces on a turn. When a player moves a playing piece to a spot adjacent to an opposing piece, he can attack that piece by pressing down both pieces. If the attack is successful, a light flashes and a beeping sound is heard as the opponent is “zapped” off the board. The last survivor in this strategic battle for territorial possession is the winner and the board is then rotated to create a new set of hidden “flash points” on the fantasy arena.

Strategy and memory are required to survive in this “zap or be zapped” adventure. Requires one 9-volt transistor battery, not included. Players: 2 to 4 Ages: 8 and up Pack: 6 pcs. Wgt: 14 lbs.

The board contains some hidden electronics which when two adjacent spaces are pressed will either cause the "Core Master" to light up and make noise - or not. Players move around the board and attack each other whenever they get next to another player by pressing down on both figures. If the "Core Master" goes off, then the defending player is removed from the board. Game continues until all but one player is wiped out. The surface of the board can rotate to a number of different positions so that the pattern of which spaces are active and which are not can be changed between games.
