Setup

Place nine unique items in a circle and shuffle the cards into a draw pile.

The rules, step by step

Setup
Place the nine unique items (green bottle, red ghost, black hat, green key, blue flashlight, white ghost, blue clock, black bat, red potion) in a circle on the table. Shuffle the deck of cards and place it face down as a draw pile.
Objective
The objective of the game is to be the first player to correctly identify and grab the designated item, or shout the correct answer based on special rules, to win the card. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
On your turn
Players take turns flipping over the top card of the draw pile. If a card shows an item with its correct color (e.g., a blue flashlight), players must quickly grab that specific item. If no item on the card matches its actual color, players must identify and grab the item that is completely different in both color and type from any item shown on the card. For example, if the card shows a green bat and a red hat, players must grab the white ghost because neither green nor bat, nor red nor hat, are present in the physical items in their correct color/type combination.
Scoring
Each time a player correctly grabs an item or shouts the correct answer, they win the flipped card. If a player makes a mistake, they must return one of their previously won cards to the bottom of the draw pile.
Game end
The game concludes once all cards from the draw pile have been flipped and won. The player who has collected the most cards at this point is declared the winner.
Tips
There are special rules that add complexity: 1. Mirror: If a card shows a mirror, players must grab the item that is reflected in the mirror, regardless of its color. 2. Owl: If a card shows an owl, players must shout the name of the correct item instead of grabbing it. 3. Mirror and Owl: If a card shows both a mirror and an owl, players must shout the color of the item reflected in the mirror. These special rules can be added or removed to adjust the game's difficulty.
