Setup

Place all 36 cards face up on the table, and have two dice ready: one with colors and one with characters.

The rules, step by step

Setup
To set up the game, scatter all 36 round cards face up across the playing surface so that every card is visible and accessible to all players. Keep the two dice, one showing different colors and the other displaying various characters, within reach of all players.
Objective
The main objective of Grabolo is to be the quickest player to identify and grab the card that matches the combination rolled on the two dice. The game is won by the first player to collect a specific number of cards, which varies depending on the number of players: 10 cards for 2 players, 8 cards for 3 players, 7 cards for 4 players, and 6 cards for 5 players.
On your turn
A player rolls both dice simultaneously. Once the dice land, all players must quickly identify the color shown on one die and the character shown on the other. Then, they must swiftly locate the single card on the table that features both that specific color and character.
Scoring
The player who is first to correctly place their hand on the card that matches the dice combination claims that card. If multiple players touch the card at the same time, the player whose hand is directly on top of the card wins it. If a player grabs an incorrect card, they must return one of their previously collected cards to the table as a penalty.
Game end
The game concludes as soon as one player successfully collects the predetermined number of cards required for the current player count. That player is then declared the winner.
Tips
A notable feature of the cards is their water-resistant quality, which helps protect them from spills and makes them more durable, especially when playing with children. For very young children (around 1.5 years old), the game can be adapted to simply teach colors and characters, or even used for tactile games where children identify characters by touch with their eyes closed.
