Hail of Fire is a company-level WWII miniatures game where authentic tactics produce historical results through fast, intuitive mechanics. Ten years in development. Continuously refined. Still free.

Fog of war drives every decision. Real commanders didn't have perfect information. Neither will you. Secret order points, hidden deployments, variable movement, and delayed combat resolution recreate the friction of command. You'll use period tactics not because the rules require it, but because they work.

Simple mechanics, not simple decisions. No charts, no phases, no record-keeping. Who acts first, where to commit, when to hold back. Every turn demands difficult tactical choices. All the depth of combined-arms warfare, resolved with a handful of dice in a couple of hours.
