Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle

Players work cooperatively as Hogwarts heroes to defeat all villains in the villain stack and protect the school locations from being overrun by dark forces before time runs out.

Set up the game by distributing hero boards, starting decks, and assigning starting health and tokens. Place location cards, the dark arts deck, Hogwarts cards, and villain decks in their designated spots on the game board according to the current game year.

On a turn, a player draws their hand of cards, resolves any dark arts events, activates villain abilities, plays cards to generate influence and attack power, purchases new cards or allies from the Hogwarts market, and assigns attack tokens to defeat villains and protect locations.

This is a fully cooperative deck-building game, so players do not compete against each other; instead, they share a joint victory or defeat based on team performance.

The game concludes immediately when all villains are successfully defeated, resulting in a team win, or when all Hogwarts locations are captured by control tokens, resulting in a loss.

Communicate openly with your teammates about card purchases, coordinate who attacks which villain, and balance buying defensive cards with offensive power to survive tougher game years.
