OVERVIEW

The Graveyard introduces a mysterious new location where daring ghosts can push their luck for eerie rewards. Each visit might grant riches beyond the grave...or nothing at all!

COMPONENTS

4 Gravestone tiles – Identical on the front; on the back:
     2 are blank
     1 shows a Skull
     1 shows a Phantom

1 Gate card

SETUP

Shuffle the 4 Gravestones face down and place them in a row beside the play area. Place the Gate card nearby to form the Graveyard zone.

GAMEPLAY

Visiting the Graveyard

    Once per turn, you may spend 1 Action to play a Scare card face down onto the Gate.
    When you do, you may secretly peek at the back of any one Gravestone, then place it back in its same spot.



    If your Scare is the fifth Scare placed on the Gate, discard the four earlier Scares; only the most recent one remains.

Claiming the Dead’s Rewards

    When a BOO! occurs and players who played correct invisible Scares are choosing rewards, a player may choose the third reward option:

→ Point to a Gravestone and reveal it. That player immediately gains the reward shown on its back, multiplied by the number of Scares currently on the Gate:

 Blank Gravestone: Nothing happens.
 Skull Gravestone: Gain that many Skulls.
 Phantom Gravestone: Draw that many Phantoms (choose one to keep; return the rest to the bottom of the deck).

Then, discard all Scares from the Gate and reshuffle the Gravestones facedown to reset the Graveyard.

STRATEGY TIP

The Graveyard tempts brave ghosts with big payoffs—but every Scare played there risks empowering the next lucky specter instead! Will you test your luck, or let another spirit claim the treasures of the tomb?
