Here Be Monsters

The Monster Coast is a fantastical land of piracy, high-seas adventure, and buried treasure. It's also a land of colossal robot warriors, sentient coconuts, and evil magical hats intent on world domination, but those are all tales for another voyage...

Here Be Monsters is a fast-paced and quick playing trading card game. Players board wacky pirates onto powerful ships, sing devastating shanties, and ultimately outmaneuver their rival pirate captain(s) to be the first to claim the buried treasure. Here Be Monsters can be played 1v1, multiplayer free for all, or with teams.

With a simple set of rules and a stripped-down resource system, Here Be Monsters has a breakneck pace, both in terms of learning the game and in playing it. Players can either construct their own decks or play with a shared deck in a hybrid drafting/deckbuilding gameplay mode.

Although Here Be Monsters is primarily available in collectable packs like other TCGs (and the packs themselves contain surprising mail-in treasure hunts to collect even more rare cards), it is notable for also offering a full playset of every standard art card in the game, borrowing from expandable card game formats.

There be monsters in these waters, but there also be treasure...
