How do you play High Frontier 4 All?

Cargo transfer is the first free action, often overlooked, and involves moving cargo. Typically, you will be loading or unloading your rocket, or transferring cargo to/from a LEO or Outpost stack. When moving fuel or water chits, remember to adjust both the dry and wet mass of your rocket accordingly. If you are creating a new Outpost by transferring cards or water chits, make sure to place a cardboard marker on the map to indicate its location. This action is crucial for managing resources and expanding your presence across the solar system.

The rules, step by step

Setup
Free actions are distinct from operations and movements that can only be performed once per turn. These actions can be executed at any point during your turn, but specifically not in the middle of an operation or movement. This flexibility allows players to optimize their actions and react to changing board states without being constrained to specific phases of their turn.
Objective
Cargo transfer is the first free action, often overlooked, and involves moving cargo. Typically, you will be loading or unloading your rocket, or transferring cargo to/from a LEO or Outpost stack. On your turn
Internal tankage is a free action that is very similar to cargo transfer. It involves moving fuel between your rocket's fuel tanks and its cargo bay. The key difference is that the total mass of the rocket does not change during this action. Therefore, you only need to adjust the dry mass of your rocket. When pumping fuel from the cargo bay into the rocket's tanks, decrease the dry mass. When pumping fuel from the tanks into the cargo bay, increase the dry mass. The dry mass token moves along the pink dashed line, always in the direction of the arrows. If multiple pink lines exit a node, follow the lower one.
Scoring
Building a colony is a straightforward free action. To construct a colony, you must first bring a crew card to your factory. Once the crew card is at the factory, you simply discard the crew card (it goes to the left of your player board) and place a colony token on the factory. This action represents a significant step in establishing your presence and expanding your influence in the game.
Game end
Loading a glory chit is another free action. To perform this, you need to have a crew on any celestial body. You then take an available glory chit from the corresponding heliocentric zone and place it on top of your crew stack, initially with the '1' side facing up. However, if that specific crew returns to LEO or is converted into colonists, the glory chit is moved to your player board with the higher-point side facing up. A crew cannot carry more than one glory chit at a time, emphasizing strategic choices in glory acquisition.
Tips
Decommissioning is a free action that allows you to discard cards or tokens. You can always discard a card from your hand, which then goes to the bottom of the corresponding card deck. Additionally, you can remove a factory or claim disk from the board. However, this action is not permitted if the site is already colonized, preventing players from dismantling established colonies. This action provides flexibility in managing your hand and board presence, allowing you to adapt to changing game conditions.
