Setup
To set up the game, each player receives their designated set of bug tiles. There is no game board; the game is played directly on a flat surface. The first player places any one of their bug tiles on the table. The second player then places one of their bug tiles adjacent to the first player's tile, starting the 'hive' formation.

Tips
Each bug tile has distinct movement capabilities: the Queen Bee moves one space, the Spider moves exactly three spaces, the Beetle moves one space and can climb on top of other tiles (locking down the tile below), the Grasshopper jumps in a straight line over adjacent bugs, and the Ant can move to any spot around the hive's perimeter. All pieces must adhere to the 'one hive' rule, meaning the hive can never be broken into two separate groups. Additionally, the 'freedom to move' rule dictates that a bug cannot move if it is physically pinned too tightly to slide out. You can only start moving pieces once your Queen Bee has been placed.
