Players agree before play how long the racecourse they want to play. According to this the obstacle(s) are placed. The dice are thrown, one showing which horse will move and the other how far this horse will ride. Interesting rule is that always two dice-pairs are thrown simultaneously, speeding up play. The obstacles do what they are designed for: Hinder a horses move. It is advised that players place bets before commencing to play.
