Hungry Hungry Hippos

To set up the game, first ensure the game board is placed on a flat, stable surface. Then, take all the small, colorful balls and place them in the central area of the game board. Each player chooses a hippo and positions themselves behind it, ready to play.

The primary objective of Hungry Hungry Hippos is for each player to make their hippo eat as many of the small balls as possible. The player whose hippo consumes the most balls by the end of the game is declared the winner.

There are no turns in Hungry Hungry Hippos; all players play simultaneously. Once the balls are in the center, players rapidly and repeatedly press the lever located behind their chosen hippo. This action causes the hippo to lunge forward, open its mouth, and attempt to 'eat' the balls by scooping them into its collection area.

After all the balls have been eaten from the central area, each player counts the number of balls collected in their hippo's designated collection chute. The player with the highest count of collected balls wins the round.

The game concludes when there are no more balls left in the central playing area. At this point, players stop pressing their levers, and the counting process begins to determine the winner.
