The rules, step by step
Setup
To set up the game, deal role cards facedown to all players, designating a master, an insider, and several citizens. Set aside a deck of numbered cards and a corresponding deck of word/topic cards in the center of the table.

The main objective for citizens is to correctly guess a secret word selected by the master, and then successfully identify the secret insider who already knows the word.
On your turn
During a turn, all players close their eyes while the master reveals the secret word to the insider. Then, everyone asks the master yes-no questions to figure out the word. The insider participates while trying to subtly guide the questioning toward the correct answer without blowing their cover.
Scoring
Scoring and winning conditions depend on a combination of successfully guessing the word within the time limit and correctly voting on who the insider is during the deliberation phases.
Game end
The game concludes after the word is guessed, the hourglass timer expires, and the group completes their votes and discussions to determine if the insider was caught.
