Jenga

To set up Jenga, you need 54 wooden blocks. Arrange these blocks into a stable tower by creating 18 levels, with each level consisting of three blocks placed side-by-side. The blocks on alternating levels should be oriented at 90-degree angles to each other. For example, if the first level's blocks are laid horizontally, the second level's blocks should be vertical, and so on. This creates a sturdy, interlocking structure to begin the game.

The main objective in Jenga is to be the last player to successfully remove a block from the tower and place it on the top without causing the tower to collapse. This requires a steady hand, strategic thinking, and a bit of luck, as players aim to maintain the tower's balance while making it more precarious for their opponents.

During a player's turn, they must carefully remove one block from any level of the tower below the topmost complete level. This means you cannot remove blocks from the top three levels. The player must use only one hand to remove the block. Once removed, the block must then be placed on the very top of the tower, completing the current level or starting a new one, again using only one hand. If a player changes their mind about a block, they can return it to its original position and choose another.

Jenga is not a game that involves traditional scoring. Instead, it is a game of elimination where the focus is on not being the player who causes the tower to fall. Success is measured by being the last player to make a move without the tower collapsing, rather than accumulating points.

The game concludes when a player's action causes the tower to become unstable and fall, either during the removal of a block or its placement on top. The player who makes the move that results in the tower's collapse is declared the loser. All other players are considered to have won, or more accurately, to have not lost.
