King of Tokyo Godzilla

To set up King of Tokyo Godzilla, each player selects a Kaiju monster and takes its corresponding player board, setting their health to 10 and victory points to 0. Place the six custom dice, energy flashes, and monster standees in the play area. Shuffle the power card deck and reveal three cards face up next to the main Tokyo City board, leaving space for the discard pile and event cards.

The ultimate goal of the game is to become the true King of Tokyo. Players can achieve this in two ways: by being the first monster to accumulate 20 victory points, or by being the last monster standing after eliminating all opposing Kaijus through combat.

A player's turn is divided into five steps. First, roll the six dice up to three times, choosing which dice to keep and which to reroll. Second, resolve the dice symbols in any order, which grant victory points, energy flashes, health, or smash attacks. Third, enter or manage your position in Tokyo City if it is empty. Fourth, purchase power cards using your accumulated energy flashes. Finally, pass the turn clockwise.

Victory points are scored by rolling matching sets of three dice faces (such as three ones, twos, or threes), entering Tokyo City for initial and ongoing bonuses, and by purchasing or triggering specific power cards and events throughout the game.

The game concludes immediately under two conditions: either when a player successfully reaches or exceeds 20 victory points at the end of their turn, or when all other monsters' health drops to zero, leaving a single survivor.
