Kingdomino Origins

To set up Kingdomino Origins, place the central tent structure and sort the territory tiles into numbered stacks based on player count. Each player receives a starting tile, a matching player hut, and wooden tokens according to their chosen game mode. Tiles are drawn and arranged in ascending numerical order to form the draft market for the first round.

The main objective is to expand your caveman tribe's territory into a 5x5 grid, making regions as welcoming as possible by using erupting volcanoes to create campfires, gathering precious resources, and recruiting skilled members.

On your turn, select a face-up domino from the market using your player marker. Then, add that tile to your growing territory grid by connecting identical landscape types to existing tiles or directly to your starting hut, following standard grid boundaries.

At game end, you score comfort points for each distinct region by multiplying its size in squares by the number of campfires it contains. Additional points are awarded depending on the chosen variant mode, such as majority resource collection for Totem tiles or specific positioning and groupings for recruited cavemen.

The game concludes once all available dominoes from the stacks have been drafted and placed into players' territories. Final scores are tallied, and the player with the highest total number of comfort points wins the game.
