Let's Go! To Japan

To set up Let's Go! To Japan, each player takes a personal player board representing their 6-day itinerary across Tokyo and Kyoto. Place the round tracker at the starting position and separate the city card decks for Tokyo and Kyoto. Keep supply tokens, research tokens, wild tokens, and trains easily accessible near the main scoring area.

The main objective is to compete against your opponent to plan the best 6-day trip to Japan. You want to maximize your victory points by visiting amazing attractions, enjoying delicious food, and maintaining a balanced mood throughout your vacation, while minimizing stress.

Over the course of 13 rounds, players simultaneously draw cards from the city decks, choose one card to place on their itinerary board for any day of the week, and pass the remaining cards to their opponent. Each day can hold up to three cards, and you must manage train travel between cities carefully.

Scoring happens at the end of the game across your entire itinerary. Points are awarded based on card criteria, highlighted daily activities, unique experiences, and final positions on the mood tracker. Research tokens and wild tokens can also be spent or converted into bonus points.

The game concludes after the 13th round once all players have completed their 6-day itineraries. Players then position their train tokens correctly, calculate their final scores day by day, and determine the winner based on total accumulated points.
