Love Letter: Batman

To set up a game of Love Letter: Batman Edition, shuffle the 16 character cards to form the draw deck. Remove the top card of the deck face-down without looking at it. If you are playing a two-player game, take an additional three cards from the top and set them aside face-up; these will not be used during the round. Each player then draws one starting card from the deck into their hand, and a random first player is chosen.

The main objective of the game is to be the last player standing in each round or to have the highest-ranking card when the deck runs out, ultimately collecting Batman tokens to win the game.

On your turn, you draw one card from the top of the deck, adding it to your hand of two cards. You must then choose one of the two cards to play face-up in front of you, resolving its text effect immediately. Play passes clockwise, and knocked-out players must discard their hand face-up without resolving effects.

When a round concludes, the surviving player with the highest card value wins a Batman token. If no one was knocked out, remaining players reveal their hands to compare values.

A round ends immediately when the draw pile is empty at the end of a turn, or when all players except one have been knocked out of the round.
