The set contains characters from the House of X series published by Marvel comics The game is played on a gridded map that is 24x36 inches. the game is played with pre-painted miniatures. the goal of the game is to either defeat your opponents entire team or accumulate more points than your opponent in a timed game. Each miniature is allocated a certain number of points printed on the base of the mini.

The game plays much like a miniatures game. Most of the vital statistical information is directly on the base of the characters, which can be rotated as characters take damage from hits.
