Mind Space

Mind Space features a straightforward setup where every participant receives a double-sided brain board and a comprehensive scoreboard. Three objective cards are selected from deck categories A, B, and C and placed centrally for all players to compete towards. Five polyomino shape cards are dealt face-up in a row next to a permanent two-by-one shape card. The unique brain-shaped dice are kept nearby in a dice tray, ready for the first round of rolling.

The main objective in Mind Space is to successfully fill your personal brain board with different colored polyomino shapes. By strategically placing these shapes according to adjacency rules and specific objective cards, players aim to maximize their points across multiple scoring categories to achieve victory.

Each round begins with rolling the brain-shaped dice and assigning them to the corresponding polyomino shape cards from left to right. Players then choose one available shape corresponding to a die value to draw onto their brain board, ensuring new shapes touch previously drawn ones and obey color restrictions. Players can spend collected cents for flexible shape options or extra actions.

Scoring in Mind Space is calculated across several categories: completing brain sections yields points, fulfilling shared objective cards grants bonuses, purple squares touching orange squares earn multipliers, and uncrossed blue penalty tracks subtract points. Additional points are awarded for remaining cents and managing board efficiency.

The game concludes after 12 rounds of drawing polyomino shapes and taking final scoreboard actions. Players sum up their points from all completed brain sections, objectives, and bonuses while subtracting any penalty points. The player with the highest total score wins the game.
