Setup
To set up Misfit Heroes for a 2-player game, each player receives a starting hand of 5 hero cards. Place the main deck, influence tokens, region tiles, and coin supply centrally between players. The brick-shaped region tiles are arranged in a 4x4 grid, with 12 point tiles on top and decreasing values below. Each player is given a reference card and a starting amount of coins.
