My Island

To set up My Island, each player receives a personal island board and starting marker. Shuffle the deck of building cards and place them nearby. Sort the various hexagonal tiles into stacks based on their shapes and types. Keep the chapter envelopes and sticker sheets ready for the campaign progression.

The main objective of My Island is to develop your unique island across 24 progressive chapters. Players shape their islands by strategically placing tiles featuring fields, forests, buildings, and other terrain features to optimize space and satisfy campaign-specific goals.

During a turn, players draw a building card that indicates which tile shape must be placed. All players simultaneously select that tile type from their supply and place it onto their island board. Tiles must generally connect to previously placed tiles and follow specific placement criteria, such as matching terrain or adjacent symbols. Players may also choose to pass by losing a point instead of placing a tile.

Scoring happens at the end of each episode. Players earn points based on completed layouts, visible features, and specific chapter objectives. Points are lost for any remaining empty spaces on the beaches. The scoring marker is moved along the board track to record progress.

Each episode concludes when all players finish their tile placements or the deck runs out. After completing all 24 episodes and opening the campaign envelopes for new rules and stickers, the player with the best overall campaign performance wins the game.
