The 25th century. After discovering the coordinates of a planet erased from all official charts, you assemble an expedition aboard the ZAROFF and set course for Artemia.
The first surveys look promising: a Class M world, lush and breathable. But as you enter the atmosphere, a magnetic field tears through the ship's systems. Crash landing. Distress signal sent. Now you wait for rescue on an alien world that may not want you here.
Something is watching from the jungle. Something ancient. Something territorial.
You are not alone.
Not Alone is an asymmetric card game pitting one player against the rest of the table. The Hunted use Place cards and Survival cards to explore Artemia and hold out until rescue arrives, advancing the Rescue counter each round. The Creature hunts them, pushing the Assimilation counter forward with every successful catch. Whoever's counter reaches the Victory space first wins.
Each turn, the Hunted secretly choose a Place card from their hand and place it face down. They can talk freely, but each survivor must choose alone. Then the Creature places up to three Hunt tokens across the ten locations of Artemia. All cards are revealed: survivors on safe locations trigger powerful place abilities, while those caught lose Will counters or suffer Hunt card effects. Lose your last Will counter and the Assimilation counter surges forward. At the end of each round, the Rescue counter advances one space.
Managing your hand is key. Place cards accumulate in a visible discard pile, making your next move predictable. Spend Will counters to Resist and reclaim discarded cards, or Give Up to fully reset at a heavy collective cost to the whole team.
This Remastered Edition also includes Frozen Lands, an alternative version for 4 to 7 players. It introduces 55 new Place cards and 14 Contamination tokens. Giving up or losing your last Will counter now risks drawing a hidden Contamination token. When rescue finally arrives, every survivor must be clean. One infected player means defeat for the entire team.
