How do you play On the Hunt?
In this game players take on the roles of hunters, each competing to have the most valuable collection of deer, moose and elk at the end of 5 years! A roll of the dice determine which animals are available to hunt, then each hunter fights for control over the best hunting grounds to shoot their prized mounts.

In this game players take on the roles of hunters, each competing to have the most valuable collection of deer, moose and elk at the end of 5 years!
A roll of the dice determine which animals are available to hunt, then each hunter fights for control over the best hunting grounds to shoot their prized mounts.
Each round you start by increasing you priority for mule deer, moose or elk. The higher your priority, the more likely you are to be given permission to hunt that animal. Next, you all take turns placing your hunter meeples on the 6 different hunting areas. Each hunting area has different animals with different point values. If you have the most hunter meeples in a hunting area, you get to shoot first!
A final roll of the shooting dice determine whether you hit your animal or not! Each hunter meeple you have in the area is an extra shooting dice you get to roll. Will you play it safe? Or risk it for the big haul?
