This is actually a 'Variant' for use with the 1965 Version of Avalon Hill's The Battle of the Bulge game. You will have to have the game in order to play this.

The 'Variant' components consist of the following: a RULES set of 6-pages plus an 'Errata' sheet; 3-COLOR-Charts; a set of 'counters' which must be cut-apart and glued to 1/2" square pieces prior to play.

Within the Rules are detailed additions to the 'Tournament' game of 'Bulge-65' with amendments to any of those explained further. Some of these are: Amendment to Zone of Controls-for Combat, Support, & 'Pure'-Armor units; Road Movement-for 'Leg', Motorized, & 'Tracked' units; TAC(Ground Support)-for the Germans; Para-drops-(for the 'von der Heydte' unit); Operation 'GREIF'(the 150th-Pz.Brig.) & the 'Einheit Steilau' Squads; and an Amendment to the Tournament Victory Conditions.

The Charts included are: one WHITE-with the British Order of Appearance, the Play by Mail Para-drop Results Table(10-Results), the Face to Face Para-drop Results Table(6-Results), with explanations for both; one GREEN-with the German Order of Appearance & Reinforcements; one TAN-with the American Order of Appearance & Reinforcements.

The game counters are of the following COLOR types: German~'Wehrmacht'-GRAY, Parachute~BLUE, Waffen 'SS'BLACK, 150th Pz.Brig.& 'E.S.'1/2-GRAY & TAN; BritishRED; & AmericansTAN. The 'NEW' units include: 'Mixed'-Armor; 'Mixed'-Assault Guns; Headquarters; Artillery; Armored-Artillery; Nebelwerfer; Engineers; 'Jagdpanzer'; Tank-Destroyers; Assault Guns; Armored 'Cavalry'; and the 'Special' 150th Pz.Brig. & 'E.S.' Squads.

This is an entire 'revamping' of the game and just the 'Fortresses', 'Fortifications(Entrenchments)', & 'Direction' markers are used from the original game. Some of the new concepts involved are the Support Units(HQ & Artillery-ALL kinds), Road movement & Zones of Control for 'Motorized', 'Leg', & 'Armored'('Pure'-Armor & Support Units have NO-Z.O.C.!) units, plus the addition of the British Forces, & the 'Special' German units included.
