Outfoxed!

To set up Outfoxed!, each player chooses a detective hat and places it on the center board space. Place the fox pawn on the start space with the fox icon. Shuffle the 16 suspect cards face down, arrange four on each side of the board, and flip two face up. Shuffle the thief cards, slip one secretly into the decoder, and put the rest away. Finally, stack the clue markers face down near the board.

Players work together as a team of detectives to figure out which of the suspect foxes stole Mrs. Plumpert's pot pie before the guilty fox can make its escape.

On your turn, decide whether to search for clues or review suspects. Roll three dice up to three times, trying to match all three dice to paw print icons for searching or eye icons for reviewing. If you fail after three attempts, the fox moves three spaces forward. Successful searches let you move your pawn and draw a clue marker to check in the decoder for green (item worn) or white (item not worn) clues.

Outfoxed! is a cooperative game with no individual scoring. All players win or lose together based on their deductive teamwork.

The game ends in three ways: players correctly name the thief and match it to the decoder card to win, players eliminate all but one suspect and match the decoder to win, or the fox pawn reaches the end of the path and escapes, causing everyone to lose.
