Preparing Pandemic: The Cure with upgraded components is simple and cheap. Purchase durable plastic sleeves and office ID clips. Slip each player role card into a sleeve, punch a small slot at the top without damaging the card, and attach the clip. This transforms standard rule cards into realistic ID badges for your gaming group.

As a team of specialists, your goal is to contain and cure four deadly diseases that threaten the world. Work together using specialized role abilities to treat infected regions, collect samples, and ultimately discover all four cures before the infection spreads beyond control.

On your turn, roll your character-specific dice to determine your available actions. You can use these actions to travel between regions, treat infected areas, collect sample dice, trade with other players, or research cures. After taking actions, manage infection spread and disease progression according to game rules.

This is a fully cooperative dice game where players win or lose as a team. Individual scores do not matter; the shared victory condition is successfully developing all four cures.

The game concludes immediately when either condition is met: players successfully discover all four cures, resulting in a cooperative victory, or the outbreak marker and infection tracks reach their maximum limits, resulting in defeat for all players.
