Setup

Players receive a 4x4 grid of cocktail cards and six token markers to track their claimed recipes.

The rules, step by step

Setup
Each player starts with a personal 4x4 grid filled with various cocktail recipe cards, plus a set of six unique cocktail tokens. These tokens are used to mark completed recipes directly on your grid as you successfully roll the required dice combinations.
Objective
The main goal of Piña Coladice is to be the most successful bartender by claiming cocktail cards on your board. You win by being the first player to reach 20 points, forming a full 'Piña Coladice' pattern (four cards in a row, column, or diagonal), or exhausting all six of your cocktail tokens.
On your turn
On your turn, you roll five dice and have up to three attempts to achieve a desired dice combination. After each roll, you can lock or unlock specific dice to build towards completing one of the available recipe cards on your grid. Once satisfied or out of rerolls, you claim a matching card by placing a token on it.
Scoring
Points are earned primarily by successfully claiming cocktail cards based on specific dice rolls, such as pairs, three-of-a-kind, straights, or sums. Additionally, the game rewards positional strategy: you score bonus points for claiming cards that are adjacent or connected to other tokens already placed on your grid.
Game end
The game concludes as soon as any trigger condition is met during a round: a player accumulates 20 or more points, successfully forms a complete Piña Coladice line across their 4x4 board, or places their final sixth token onto the grid.
Tips
Pay close attention to spatial arrangement when choosing which cards to claim. Linking your claimed cocktails together into continuous clusters unlocks valuable adjacency bonuses that can quickly propel you toward the 20-point victory threshold.
