Spielablauf: Der aktive Spieler mischt alle Deckel und legt diese als Stapel verdeckt vor sich ab. Der aktive Spieler deckt jetzt so lange Deckel nach und nach auf, bis er nicht mehr kann oder will. Viele Deckel zeigen eine bestimmte Anzahl an Spinatdosen, die der Spieler über die einzelnen aufgedeckten Deckel (von Deckel zu Deckel) aufaddiert. Hintergrund: Jede Spinatdose stärkt Popeye und bringt mehr und mehr Siegpunkte! Nur bei einem Auftauchen von Popeye kann der Spieler freiwillig aufhören und seine Punkte festhalten.
