Prey Another Day

To set up Prey Another Day, place the food tokens in the middle of the table as a central supply. Each player takes a hand of five animal cards: Bear, Wolf, Lynx, Owl, and Mouse, numbered one through five in descending order of food chain dominance.

The main objective of the game is to be the cleverest predator or survivor in the forest, aiming to be the very first player to collect five food tokens by outsmarting your opponents.

Each round consists of three hunts. Players simultaneously select one animal card from their hand and place it face down. Once revealed, animals are called out in order from strongest to weakest. If two or more players reveal the same animal, they neutralize each other. If only one animal is revealed, that player targets a weaker animal as prey, eliminating it from the round.

After three hunts, surviving players each earn one food token. The player with the highest total value of surviving animals earns an extra token. If a single player is the sole survivor of a hunt, they immediately win two food tokens and the round ends instantly.

The game continues over multiple rounds until one player successfully accumulates five food tokens, at which point the game ends and that player is declared the winner.
