Components • 32 pieces (16 red & 16 black) 4 pieces of concentric telescoping tubes that are 4 elevations • 4 tiles • 1 instruction booklet

Object Get four of your pieces in a row - vertically or horizontally

Set Up Place four tiles into a square & choose which color pieces you want.

Starting the Game Black goes first then alternate turns

Winning the Game To win players must get four of their pieces in a row at the end of a turn as described below:

a) the same size in a row - there are 4 size but all must be the same size.
b) graduated from smallest to largest in a row c) A pyramid Stalemate: If all piece have been placed and there are no winners

Tie: If at then end of a turn both players have 4 in a row

BASIC PLAY - learning the mechanics Player 1 Place a piece in any available square. • Both players may use any square when placing pieces but pieces of the same size may not occupy the same square. • Each square may hold up to 4 pieces and may include both colors.
• Pieces may not be moved or removed after being placed in a square At the end of player 1's turn they must turn a tile clockwise or counter clockwise 90 degrees.

Player 2 Place a piece in any available space. At the end of player 2's turn they must turn a tile clockwise or counter clockwise 900.

Once you are comfortable with this level of play then move up to Intermediate level to build strategy & spatial skills.

INTERMEDIATE PLAY– Thinking ahead Player 1 Place a piece in any available square. • Both players may use any square when placing pieces but pieces of the same size may not occupy the same square. • Each square may hold up to 4 pieces and may include both colors.
• Pieces may not be moved or removed after being placed in a square At the end of player 1's turn they must turn any tile clockwise 90 degrees.

Player 2 Place a piece in any available space. At the end of player 2's turn they must turn a tile clockwise 900.

Once you are comfortable with this Intermediate play move up to Advanced to really challenge your strategy & spatial skills.

ADVANCED PLAY– pulling it all together Arrange tiles into a square with letters in clockwise alphabetical order.

Play continues placing pieces and turning tiles in alphabetical order (A, B, C, D) until a player wins; there is a tie or a draw. A players wins when 4 of their pieces of the same color are in a row as shown above at the end of a turn. You can use Quest Notation to record the game for analyses and replay later.
