Setup
Set up Rajas of the Ganges by placing the main board in the center, distributing province boards, starting workers, a palace, karma tokens, and initial money to each player. Each player also rolls their starting dice and places them on their Kali statue. Special tiles, bonus tokens, and dice supplies are organized near the board.

The main goal is to be the first player to have your money track marker and your fame track marker meet or cross each other along the outer dual score tracks. Players must carefully balance acquiring currency through markets and quarry expansion with earning fame through temple building and river travel.
On your turn
On your turn, you place one of your available worker meeples onto an open action spot on the main board. Depending on the spot, you must pay costs in money or spend dice of specific colors and pip values from your Kali statue to take actions like acquiring tiles, advancing on the river, or boosting temple values.
Scoring
Players score money and fame dynamically. Placing province tiles yields immediate money from connected markets or fame from temples. Visiting the quarry lets you build estate tiles, the market grants income based on unique market types, the river moves your boat for bonuses, and the palace grants dice manipulation or turn order advantages.
Game end
The game triggers its final round as soon as at least one player's money marker and fame marker pass or intersect each other on the track. The current round is played to completion, giving all players an equal number of turns, and whoever progressed their markers the farthest wins.
