Fueling these devastating plays are the strategic Riftstone dice; more than just randomizers, these custom dice offer primary powers to activate spells and crucial secondary abilities (like upgrading dice, drawing cards, or refreshing The Rift) for vital tactical flexibility, allowing you to sculpt your hand, control the flow of magic, and gain the upper hand.

The strategic heart of Riftblade lies in managing The Rift itself. Will you purchase powerful spells to build your engine for future turns, or Trigger their effects directly from The Rift for immediate, disruptive impact—perhaps denying a crucial card to an opponent or clearing the way for a better selection? Starter cards grant access to the versatile Void Aspect, essential for weaving diverse spell combinations from different magical Aspects (Infernal, Celestial, Soul, and Chaos), forcing a careful balance between a lean, consistent deck and broader strategic flexibility.

Each turn has 2 phases: Attack and Cleanup. If your Life reaches 0, you're out of the game. Play until only one player has Life left — that player is the winner!
