Rise of Tribes

At the beginning of Rise of Tribes, each player selects a player board that features an order of play and specific village-building requirements on one side, and a unique tribe leader with a powerful ability on the other. Players receive their respective pieces, starting resources, and goal cards, preparing the board for strategic expansion and competition.

The main objective of Rise of Tribes is to race to 15 points by expanding your tribe, gathering resources, building villages, and completing goals before your opponents do, securing total dominance over the region.

During each turn, players select two of four main actions: Grow, Move, Gather, or Lead. They roll dice to determine the effectiveness of their actions. Rolling doubles triggers exciting events such as volcanoes, droughts, or the arrival of mammoths. Conflict occurs when a hex has too many tribe members, requiring players to resolve overcrowding by removing excess figures.

Players score points by completing goal cards, which include achievements like majority control or board positions, and developments like basketry and pottery. Additionally, players can build villages at the end of their turn to secure valuable points and cement their presence on the map.

The game concludes instantly the moment any tribe successfully moves their score marker to the 15-point spot on the track, immediately crowning them the winner.
