七大恨:滿州的崛起(Seven Grievances: The Rise of Manchuria)is a strategic wargame to simulate the Manchuria invasion of Ming dynasty in the 17th century. This 2-3 player block game is quick playing and a game can be finished in 2-4 hours. In 1616, the Jianzhou Jurchen chieftain Nurhaci completes his reunification of Jurchen tribes, and established the Later Jin dynasty. 2 years later, Nurhaci proclaimed the Seven Grievances as the causa belli against the Ming-dynasty, and sparks the new conflict in Manchuria.

In this game, players take the role of Later Jin, Mongol, and Ming dynasty and battle for supremacy of Manchuria. In each turn, players either use the action wheel or cards to conduct actions. By pushing the round marker forward, player can freely decide which action they want to take, but pushing too far will not only result in the turn ends prematurely, but also awarding other player card draws. Careful planning and consideration of the current situation must be kept in mind of players.

There are 3 kinds of units in the game: Artillery, Cavalry, and Infantry. During combat, artillery unit attacks first, but they do not count for the final victory determination of the battle. Cavalry moves faster and attacks before infantry, while infantry lacks special ability but are the most numerous. Unlike traditional block games, units with higher morale (steps) use a better die when firing (from 6-sided die to 12-sided die), and higher moral level requires more hits to be reduced. Most units can only be trained to level-3 morale, but each faction have their speciality unit which can be trained to level-4.
