In this game, each player tries to dye the clothes in his/her indigo plant, first from white cloth to blue cloth, then to patterned cloth. The one who successfully dyed 8 patterned clothes first wins the game!
Players take turn to do one of the following:
- Take a card from the supply and place it on his/her plant.
- Take a card from the supply and add it to his/her hand.
- Place a card from his/her hand to his/her plant.
The game ends when one of the following happens:
- One of the player has dyed 8 or more patterned clothes.
- There is only 1 card in any of the supply rows.
