Smart10

To set up Smart10, first ensure all ten answer pegs are placed on the Smartbox. Then, slide out the top question card from the Smartbox to reveal the current question. Before starting, each player or team should choose a unique symbol on the score tracker to keep track of their points throughout the game. The Smartbox is then passed to the first player.

The main objective of Smart10 is to be the player or team with the most points at the end of the game. Points are earned by correctly answering questions and collecting the corresponding answer pegs. Players must strategically decide when to answer and when to pass to maximize their score while avoiding incorrect guesses.

During a player's turn, they read the question aloud from the Smartbox. They then choose one of the ten possible answer options and state their answer. After stating their answer, the player removes the corresponding answer peg from the Smartbox to reveal whether their answer was correct or incorrect. The Smartbox is then passed to the next player.

If a player gives a correct answer, they keep the removed answer peg as a point for that round. If the answer is incorrect, the player loses all the pegs they have collected in that specific round, and their turn ends. Players also have the option to 'pass' their turn; if they pass, they do not lose any pegs they've already collected in the round, but they cannot participate in the remainder of that round.

A round concludes when all players have either given an answer, chosen to pass, or all ten answer options for the current question have been revealed. At the end of each round, players count their collected answer pegs, and their scores are updated on the score tracker using their assigned symbols. The game continues for a predetermined number of rounds, or until a player reaches a set target score, at which point the player with the highest score wins.
