Star Wars: X-Wing (Second Edition)

The main goal is to command your squadron of iconic starfighters in tactical dogfights to defeat the opposing player's fleet while managing your ships' stress levels, shields, and hull integrity across diverse mission scenarios.

Players begin by choosing one of the major factions from the Star Wars universe and building a squadron within a specific point limit. Each ship is assigned a pilot card with unique abilities and may be outfitted with upgrade cards such as modifications, talents, and tech to customize their capabilities for the battle ahead.

During each round, players secretly select a movement maneuver on their ship's dial. Once all dials are locked in, they are revealed simultaneously, and ships execute their movements using specialized templates, followed by engaging in combat within specific firing arcs.

Score points by inflicting damage and destroying enemy starfighters, as well as fulfilling specific scenario objectives outlined in the mission rules.

The match concludes when all ships from one player's squadron are completely destroyed, or when the predetermined round limit of the scenario is reached.

Mastering the movement dials and anticipating your opponent's trajectory are essential. Keep your squads coordinated, utilize defensive terrain, and always keep your primary weapons pointed at the enemy.
