Place the tracking board in the center with priority markers and gold trackers. Shuffle and display goal and challenge cards alongside market cards and matching tokens. Each player receives two dungeon frames, a blueprint card, and five secret chamber cards. Set up your starting doorway according to your blueprint.

Compete as minion architects to design the ultimate dungeon over four years. By arranging chamber cards into a 4x4 grid filled with traps, monsters, and treasures, your goal is to maximize your reputation points through clever placement and meeting specific design demands.

Each year consists of a construction phase where players secretly pick a chamber card to add to their current row, then pass the remaining hand. In two-player games, you pick one to build and one to discard. After four cards are played, players use gold to visit the market and buy tokens or take challenge cards.

Final scoring awards points based on priority track position, public goals, completed personal challenge cards, gold and gray reputation stars inside chambers, blueprint demand matches, and path connections from rooms to your entrance and exit doors.

The game concludes after the fourth year's market phase, skipping its cleanup step. Proceed directly to final scoring by adding up all reputation points, resolving ties using the priority order, and declaring the player with the most points the winner.
