Setup

Deal face-down cards to each player based on player count: 10 cards for 2, 9 for 3, 8 for 4, and 7 for 5 players.

The rules, step by step

Setup
To set up Sushi Go!, distribute face-down cards to every participant according to the total player count: ten cards for two players, nine cards for three players, eight cards for four players, and seven cards for five players. Place the remaining deck in the center of the play area as a draw pile.
Objective
The main goal of Sushi Go! is to score the highest total number of points after playing three rounds. Players accomplish this by drafting and collecting profitable combinations of sushi items, side dishes, and desserts.
On your turn
During each turn of a round, all players simultaneously choose one card from their current hand and place it face down in front of them. Once everyone has made their selection, all chosen cards are revealed simultaneously. Afterward, players pass their remaining hand of cards clockwise to the next participant.
Scoring
Scoring happens at the conclusion of each round. Different cards yield points in unique ways: Tempura requires pairs, Sashimi needs triplets, Dumplings scale in value, Maki Rolls reward the majority, Nigiri combine with Wasabi for triples, and Puddings score at the very end of the game.
Game end
The game concludes after three complete rounds have been played and scored. The player who accumulated the most overall points wins. Ties are broken by whoever has the most Pudding cards, and any remaining ties share the victory.
Tips
Keep an eye on what opponents are passing to you to anticipate their strategies. Securing Chopsticks early lets you draft two cards on a future turn, while collecting Puddings throughout the game is crucial since they provide essential end-game bonuses.
