Tabannusi: Builders of Ur

Tabannusi: Builders of Ur is set in ancient Mesopotamia, during a time when the legendary location of Ur was a coastal region. The game features a stunning board showing the city of Ur divided into five distinct regions, each tied to a specific color die. The board includes three key building districts: a temple district, a port district, and general construction areas, accompanied by various player pieces, cards, and resources ready for action.

Players work to build the great city of Ur, expand its districts, and establish themselves as powerful builders. Your primary goal is to score valuable victory points through strategic construction, earning the king's favor, and managing your influence across the temple and port districts.

Each turn, your worker activates one of the city's districts. To do this, you must first take a die from that district that matches its color. This die serves a dual purpose: it becomes a resource of its color, and its exact value determines which district your worker can activate on the following turn.

You score points through various actions, such as expanding construction sizes, turning sites into complete buildings, exerting your influence in the temple district to earn the king's favor, and obtaining ships with important abilities in the port district.

The game's progression is closely tied to the availability of dice in each district. The moment a district becomes completely empty of dice, a scoring phase occurs, leading toward the final conclusion of the game.
