Published circa 1890's, this is Milton Bradley catalog #4334. The game is identical to regular outdoor croquet but is packaged in a small box and the supplied pieces allow player to re-create the game on a smaller table top. Interior of the box includes both the rules and a diagram for the arrangement of the posts and wickets to accommodate a rectangular playing surface. Mallets are about 8" long, balls are 1-1/4" in diameter, and hoops are 2" in diameter (and are supplied with small wooden feet so they will stand erect).
