Teotihuacan: City of Gods

Teotihuacan: City of Gods setup begins by laying out the main board, resource piles, and tracks. Each player receives three colored dice to act as workers, along with cocoa tokens, player disks, and starting tiles. Starting tiles determine initial resources and discovery bonuses, while action boards and temple tracks are prepared for play.

The main objective is to accumulate the most victory points by the end of three full game rounds. Players achieve this by worshipping the gods, constructing the central pyramid, gathering resources, and advancing on various boards and tracks.

On your turn, you must move one of your worker dice clockwise to a new action board, then take one corresponding action. Actions include collecting cocoa, worshipping at temples, gathering resources, constructing buildings or the pyramid, and utilizing alchemy technology. Workers grow in level and power over time.

Scoring happens primarily during eclipses and end-game phases. Players score points based on pyramid construction progress, mask collections, temple advancements, and noble board positions. Cocoa and worker levels also contribute to final scoring.

The game concludes after three full calendar rounds, marked by eclipses triggered on the calendar track. Alternatively, the game ends immediately if the pyramid is fully constructed. A final scoring session determines the winner.
