The Great Heartland Hauling Co.

To set up The Great Heartland Hauling Co., each player takes a player board representing their delivery truck and score card, a matching set of wooden block goods, a hand of city destination cards, and starting money. The city cards are arranged to form the map layout based on the player count, and remaining cards form the draw deck.

The main objective is to act as an independent trucker picking up and delivering various cube goods across the heartland map. Players navigate from city to city, fulfill delivery contracts, manage their truck's cargo space, and earn the highest amount of victory points by game end.

During a turn, players utilize their hand of cards to move their truck piece across connected city spaces. Movement is dictated by gas cards or money spent. Players must stop at cities to load matching cube goods onto their truck, travel to destination cities, and unload goods to satisfy contracts and earn cash.

Victory points are accumulated by successfully delivering goods to their demanded destinations, completing contract cards, and maintaining efficient routes without excess unsold cargo lingering on your truck, which incurs penalties.

The game concludes when trigger conditions defined by the player-count chart are met, usually after a set number of rounds or when specific delivery milestones are reached.
